Infusion Therapy

Infusion Therapy

Infusion Therapy is the process of receiving fluid or medication intravenously or via injection. It is used to treat many ailments from cancer to dehydration to anemia. Some of the most common treatments which infusions are used are low iron or B12. Low Iron is present in about 40% of women under the age of 34 and can be debilitating. It can be treated with a basic infusion of iron. Vitamin B12 deficiency is a common nutritional deficiency but can also be a result of abdominal surgery or autoimmune diseases and is easily treatable with vitamin B12 injection. Low B12 can often cause anemia, fatigue, neuralgic symptoms, and headaches.
